I had a really hard time picking the photos for this wedding, and I didn’t think it would do justice to make a details post and regular wedding post, so I’m just splitting this up into two posts. :) You may remember these fabulous two from their engagement session late last year, where we had so much fun!  They had a wonderful wedding in Pleasanton, CA (which is in the Bay Area) & it was rich with style, culture, and the love of these two :) Congrats you guys!

Here is the link to part two!

Happy weekend! This post has been much, much, muuuuuch overdue! Kristy & Sinisha were married at the gorgeous Castle Green in Pasadena, CA late last year. (You may remember their really fun engagement session!) Everything was gorgeous, and the fabulous Christina Wright of Simply Modern Weddings coordinated the whole affair :) I had so much fun at this wedding, and I’m so happy to finally be sharing with you these images!! :)

OMG, is it true?! I’m blogging a wedding! This blog has been wayyyy overdue, and I’m going to make up for it! Right now it’s just the details but stay tuned for a MASSIVE post tomorrow! ;) I loved all the details that Kristy & Sinisha had - and the location itself is gorgeous! I loved all the vintage details!

As promised! Here are more images of possibly the cutest baby ever and her birthday cake. :)

During the party, I was discussing with a friend about our first birthdays, and she was mentioning that she had photos of herself on her first birthday, smothered in birthday cake. I never had such photos! I only have two photos from my first birthday which were cake-free. Does everyone really have photos of themselves smashing their face in cake as a baby?! Do tell :)

(aka, I-am-going-to-blog-if-it-kills-me!)

Getting settled in a new place is harder than I remember. Maybe it’s because before my parents home, I never really “settled” into a place like my last one. That, and I haven’t moved to too many places. But, it’s kicking my butt. Don’t get me wrong - I love it, with the new meeting space (pictured above), and office space, but I still feel so disoriented here. I’m trying to find my rhythm. It just takes a bit of time.

I will be posting more pictures of the space soon :)

In the meantime, I’ve been horribly neglecting my blog, especially after I cared for it so well last year. I haven’t even changed my WELCOME header! I mean, really, Susan! And it’s already May. *sigh.

I toyed with the idea of blogging everyday for a month, and I almost decided that I would do it for the month of May. What say you, readers? I almost feel like blogging everyday gave me that familiar routine last year, and really helped. Who knows, I may just pick up and do it for the rest of the year. I’ve been taking a polaroid everyday this year, but it’s not the same cause I don’t blog it immediately. Should it do it - for a month at least?

Aside from my blogging/settling woes, things have been busy, and I have exciting blogs for you!! GORGEOUS weddings coming, and many other things. I love sharing with you all, and I hope to have at least ONE wedding up this week. Mark my words. Seriously!!

Well, I hope you all are having a beautiful week, and I leave you with a few things I’ve been loving. :)

01 . anthropologie’s newest display.
I always love what Anthropologie comes up with (who doesn’t?!) but I’m especially loving the hive design and the reason they’re doing it. I love looking at the way they display things too. So inspiring. :)

02 . a homemade life.
I first stumbled upon Molly’s blog fall of last year, I was originally drawn to her site because not only does she post lovely recipes, she photographs them with POLAROIDS! :D She also published a book recently, and I decided to give it a try. I loved her stories and writing style so much (and recipes that follow it) that I couldn’t read it fast enough. There’s something about books mixed with recipes - something I’ve talked about before. This one was especially lovely to read because each recipe she put in has a very specific story to it, and it really honestly makes you want to try out the recipe that much more. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves to read as well as cook :) I made her ratatouille dish the other night, too, which was a hit :)

03 . map bicycles.
Holy goodness are these bikes gorgeous. Their bags are even more gorgeous. :)

04 . hammocks & reading.
’nuff said. :)

Trash the Dress.  |  comment(s)

Happy Friday! I have a lovely post for you today - soon I shall be posting weddings again! It’s been a while, simply because wedding posting takes SO much time to do (how the heck did I blog once a day, anyway?!), so stay tuned cause I have amazing weddings to post!

Rachel & Jason were married a few years ago, but wanted to have some creative photos, so we did a trash the dress session to allow for that! Rachel is also an amazing wedding coordinator, so do check her out if you need one ;) Makeup by the wonderful Meagan Tyson ;)

My very good friends Josh & Kana had their American wedding last month (alongside their gorgeous little daughter Lilia) and it was a wonderful (and strange) experience being a guest and photographer. :) More to come soon!

How are you, my dear friends? I haven’t been around much on the blog simply because things are just crazy and on top of everything, I am sick! Fun! :P Hope you are all doing better than I am ;)
