When Melanie (from Something Blue Weddings & FRESH Invitation Studio) got engaged she immediately sent me an email proclaiming her joy! And she wanted *me* to shoot the wedding! :D I couldn’t feel more special! I know their wedding is going to be awesome and full of style! ;D
These two are so freaking adorable, and I had SO much fun doing this shoot with them! I can’t wait for the wedding, guys! :)

Also, can I say how much I love the holidays?! I’ve been playing holiday music a TON and singing along ;)

Over Thanksgiving weekend, I got the wonderful opportunity to be a guest at the wedding of my good friend and former second shooter, Nikki & her now husband, Adam. :) When she gave me the option of being the photographer or a guest, I was all over the idea of being a guest – how often do I get to?! Plus, it gave me the opportunity to just enjoy the wedding, rather than worry about shooting it. Although, of course, I had to bring my camera with me :)
They had a BEAUTIFUL, fun and relaxed wedding, and I was so glad to be a part of it in a different way. The wedding was held at the Hotel Del Coronado on the beach, and she went barefoot. :) Amy Seeley (who I met at the workshop I went to in October) was so very gracious to fly down and sing “Gravel Lines” for their first dance as well! Amy is a beautiful person, and I’m so grateful that I got to know her better through this. She has to come back to SD again! :) And you should all check out her music :)
The photo above is actually one of my faves from the whole wedding – there were birds flying all over throughout the ceremony, and I remember thinking “I hope that a bird will fly overhead during their first kiss! That would be a BEAUTIFUL shot.” And lo and behold, my wish came true. :) As well as Nikki & Adam, for having the wedding of their dreams. The Hotel Del was actually the location that Adam took Nikki to long ago, saying how one day, he hopes that maybe they could get married there. :) Some dreams do come true. :)
Enjoy the photos, as I thoroughly enjoyed being a guest for once! Stay tuned, for I also had the opportunity to do a Post Wedding shoot with them, and I can’t wait to post some teasers! :)

I warn you now, there are a TON of images!

So, the moment you’ve all been waiting for is here – images from Verlee & Josh’s trash the dress! I knew immediately when Verlee mentioned on the day of their wedding that they wanted to do a trash the dress shoot that this would be a totally AWESOME session cause these two are a stylish couple! (Check out their wedding photos and their engagement photos as well as the two teasers from this session if you haven’t seen them already)
It had been overcast the entire week leading up to the day of the shoot, and Verlee and I had been discussing the idea of shooting another day, but they decided to go ahead with it, and thank goodness they did because it broke into a gorgeous day! Of course, you don’t have to take my word for it – the photos speak much louder. :o)

Stay tuned, there are SO many more photos I want to post, from a recent wedding that I was a guest (!) at, and their Post Wedding session, among other things! :D
