What a wedding to kick off the official season! Kim & Remo had a beautiful wedding, set in the hills of San Jose. I forget how lush and GREEN it is up there! Spring was definitely on it’s way, as well as gracing us with a few showers during the couple shoot – which made things all the better for photos!
Kim & Remo, you two are gorgeous, wonderful people, and I had sooo much fun with you guys! Many blessings on your beautiful journey together :)
I warn you all now, there are a LOT of photos! :)

Trees! Trees! I love TREEEES! *runs around* Haha, well, this is how I felt when shooting Hazel & Kurtis’ engagement shoot last weekend! It came up that I was going to be up north, and the idea was brought up to the do the shoot in Davis & on the UC Davis campus because that’s where it all started ;) A storm had threated to cancel our shoot all week, but we stuck it out till the day of, and it turned out to be beautiful! Hazel & Kurtis, you two are incredibly sweet, and I had SO much fun romping around downtown Davis & your old stomping grounds at US Davis. I know Hazel is anxiously waiting to see some teasers, so here they are! ;)

I love love love the trees along this road

What they were looking up at

Hazel’s penguin player had to make an appearance too! ;)

At the spot that Kurtis proposed to her on campus ; )

Go Aggies! ;D

And why I miss Sacramento sunsets!!

This was my very first time at WPPI this year, and oh my goodness, I had so much fun! I really wanted to go to meet the many photographers that I “know” online, and it was the most surreal experience when many of these photographers who I blogstalk, stalk me right back! Or at least, they know who I am. :) I really just wanted to have great conversations, meet people, connect & learn. It was an amazing experience, and I simply can’t wait for the next convention! I only wish I was able to stay longer because so many people were doing shoots the day I left. Ah, next year!
I honestly had a beautiful time meeting everyone that I did, and I seriously can’t wait to see you all again! I feel so blessed to be a part of this industry/community!
Here are some fun photos from the fun :)
It all started at Sara France & Lauren Hillary‘s bash:

I honestly don’t know everyone in this photo, but I knew Jeanette, Paula & Fred (who, by the way, told me I look very Asian. Thanks Fred)

Kathy, Lisa, Shannon, Willow, Justin, Michele & Amy :)

On top of that, Amy performed her beautiful song, Gravel Lines during Jesh’s seminar:

She also performed a new song she wrote a week ago called “Beloved” :)
It was truly an amazing week, and I feel so inspired & warm from this amazing community. There were also so many of you I wanted to meet, but that didn’t happen! Next year, alright?! :D
P.S. I can’t believe I didn’t get a shot with the “blueberries!” Next time!

The Strip as seen from above. :)
I will be posting more tomorrow – I PROMISE! I know there are many waiting to see more photos (as well as reading this from your google reader on your iphone). ;)

I am back & beat beyond belief! I think I could sleep for a few days. ;) I really wanted to post photos from the trip, but I have yet to even unpack my bags, and I think I’m just going pass out instead. ;)
Photos will come though! Guaranteed ;)
