Who are you?
I know there are many people who follow my blog that never comment, and there are you out there who comment all the time (xoxox), and then there are the inbetweens. I am curious about who you are, why you’ve come here, how you’ve found me, and what drives you/inspires you/moves you in life. <3

There are things in life that just fall in place, fall together. For a while, I was really trying to control certain things in my life, control certain things about my mindset during shoots, etc. And I would always, always get frustrated when things didn’t go exactly how I wanted it to. Where did all this control come from? I’m naturally not like this. So I gave it up. And it set me free. :) Stop trying to control life, and it may just surprise you.

When Cathy & I were brainstorming engagement location ideas, I threw a bunch out at her, locations that I’ve always thought would be fun to shoot at. When she emails me back with the idea of SeaWorld, I was all over it! It was the location of Cathy & Erik’s first date, and oh so perfect. :)
We had so much fun walking around the park, enjoying the afternoon, rushing to the sky ride for the sunset, and just getting to know one another and finding gorgeous light. :) I still remember the feeling of the wind through my hair and the quiet of it all on the ride. :) Cathy & Erik, you guys are flippin’ amazing, and I can’t wait for the wedding!! :D

01 :: mulberry convertible bag.
My friend Emily has this bag and I really LOVE IT. It can convert to a tote bag or a regular shoulder bag, which is awesome!! I’ve seen various variations of the idea, but I haven’t found one that I like as much as the Mulberry one (although L.A.M.B. has a clutch/tote I like)
02 :: agent provocateur.
Sexy lingerie! I really love their stuff cause it’s sweet, yet sassy at the same time. :)
03 :: etsy.
If you haven’t discovered etsy yet, well here is the time! Etsy is an amazing online shopping marketplace, where talented and creative people sell their goods. They range from stationary, to homemade crafts, photos, clothes, anything! It’s like ebay, but no hassles with bidding, and the people are talented x10000000! 04 :: august rush.
What a sweet movie this is. :) Especially for music lovers! My only gripe is that the ending could’ve been a bit fuzzier, I think. :) However, the mood was lovely, makes me want to visit New York, and be a music prodigy. :) And wear/own a dress like Keri Russell’s in the ending scene.
Back home, we used to visit the nearby schools and parks at night and while the guys played songs on their guitars, I just sat back and listened while watching the sky above.
I would listen to the music as it floated through the air.
I do miss days like those.

What can I say about these two?! The first time I met Meghan, I remember her having this amazingly fun personality, totally happy with an infectious smile. :) The first time I met Scott was at their engagement session, who is awesome, and together these two are one of the funnest and sweetest couples ever! And did I mention GORGEOUS?! Their wedding was one of the HOTTEST days I’ve ever had in May, and I forgot to put on the sunscreen so I got burned! :( But it was a gorgeous wedding, and so emotionally sweet. The girls were dancing the WHOLE day and by the time the reception rolled around, they were warmed up and in full swing!
Meghan & Scott, you guys are amazing and beautiful, I hope you’re having a BEAUTIFULFABULOUS time in Europe (I am so jealous!!!)! Thank you again for letting me into your beautiful world :)
