wine + awesome people + wandering around the railroad tracks = <3

. . . . . . .
Who knew what you would find a block radius of a railroad track? Sometimes keeping it simple is the best way for a shoot because it forces me to look at things creatively (like ditches!) and create some fun images in an unlikely spot. Many times a shoot will just form based on whim, and very little deliberate planning. That’s what happened with Marisa & Drayson’s shoot, we planned to meet at a wine bar, and decided to just take it wherever the wind took us from there! Which is how we ended up shooting in such a small area, and coming away with some really great & amazing images. It also helps to have such fabulous people ;)
Can’t wait for the wedding!

a few years later + wedding dress + two kids + finger paints = <3

. . . . . . . . . .
When Addie had contacted me with her idea of a trash the dress/lifestyle session with finger paints and her two kids, I LOVED it! It was so fun to see these two again, with their beautiful children in tow. It was a grand time, and I’d do it all over again. <3
