As promised! Here are more images of possibly the cutest baby ever and her birthday cake. :)
During the party, I was discussing with a friend about our first birthdays, and she was mentioning that she had photos of herself on her first birthday, smothered in birthday cake. I never had such photos! I only have two photos from my first birthday which were cake-free. Does everyone really have photos of themselves smashing their face in cake as a baby?! Do tell :)

(I predict that after this 80’s phase passes through, we’ll be revisiting the 90’s flannel and grunge period again :P)
Got a chance to do a lifestyle session with the Balatero family and it was so much fun! I’m so glad I got to see you all again! :)
What’s a lifestyle session? A great way to have a fun portrait session that isn’t just portraits – we can go to any location and just have fun! :D

It’s been a while since I’ve done a proper shoot, and I was literally going crazy in the office wanting to do something! So I grabbed my friend Nikki & we got fancied up (yes, she took photos of me too!) thanks to Meagan who did our makeup and headed out east. We pretty much drove until something caught our eye and stopped. It was a pretty fun adventure, and my only wish was that it had been sunny that day!! Oh well. I still think we rocked it. :) I had a lot of fun doing this shoot because I’ve been wanting to do more fashion type shooting with some portraiture, so this was a ton of fun. I’m going to be adding a lot more to my portrait/lifestyle side so stay tuned for that!
