a few years later + wedding dress + two kids + finger paints = <3

. . . . . . . . . .
When Addie had contacted me with her idea of a trash the dress/lifestyle session with finger paints and her two kids, I LOVED it! It was so fun to see these two again, with their beautiful children in tow. It was a grand time, and I’d do it all over again. <3

Bubbles + UCSD + water fun = <3
I am so thrilled to finally be sharing with you Ceci & Wayne’s trash the dress! I’ve known Wayne for years and years (since junior high) and I began to get to know Ceci just before they got married a few years ago. These two are such fun loving people, I had such a blast creating a bubbly session with them to match their personalities. We actually started the session at UCSD in front of Peterson Hall, which is where they first met. :) I love being able to take photos at places that mean something to the couple. :)
I hope you enjoy this fun session as much I had creating it. :)

What a great way to do a trash the dress – at the San Diego County Fair! ;) I had such a blast with these two, eating strange fair foods, going on roller coasters and rides (the swings were definitely one of my fave rides growing up). I just had to relive it and post a blog! <3 Much love to you both, Charlene & Christian!
P.S. If you need a DJ, Christian is your guy!

Another blog to please the senses! ;) This is Trang & Doug’s trash the dress session, which they actually did before the wedding! Definitely a first for me, but that didn’t affect the shoot or the dress (which she dry cleaned for her wedding later that WEEK! & it was totally fine :) Just an FYI for all of you who are nervous to do a trash the dress because you’re afraid that you’ll ‘ruin’ the dress – that’s far from the truth! I usually don’t have you do anything that permanently ruins the dress unless you want to do something very specific or it’s something we discussed beforehand. So no worries :) A little sand & dirt don’t hurt! (I’ve even had brides who tell that after they do the session, their dress is CLEANER after going into the ocean ;))
So enjoy & stay tuned for the wedding blog ;)

I haven’t looked over all the images yet, but this one grabbed out at me while I was shooting. :) More to come!
(Can you believe that I’m posting more?! It’s still not full posts yet, but better than nothing, right?)
