Couldn’t resist stormy weather day photography which includes mandatory umbrella shots from me. ;)

Another couple which I must commend for their patience on this blog post! You may remember Lorelle & Jason from their fun engagement session at UCR, and their wedding was no exception! We even did photos at Legoland, which was a first all around! The ceremony was held at the beautiful Mission San Luis Rey, with a beautiful outdoor reception at The Crossings at Carlsbad.
Lorelle & Jason, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful day - you guys are AWESOME and I wish you so many blessing for your future together :)
P.S. Stay tuned for their details post!

Who’s this?! ;)

The structures behind them are the Griffith Observatory (where Jason proposed!) and the Mission San Luis Rey, where they were just married! It was a total conincidence that they were right next to each other :)

On the Lego “teacups”

Darth was no match for them!

Some amazing cloud weather that day!

Stephanie & Dennis, you two are amazing, and not just because you were sooo patient! I’m so behind on my blogging, and hope this makes up for it. :)
These two love birds (you may remember their fun engagement session at the Zoo!) were married at the La Jolla Christian Fellowship with the reception at the Hyatt Regency in La Jolla. I loved their color scheme of orange and blue - it makes for such a stunning contrast (and yes, there was a chemistry theme if you noticed in the details)! The wedding was coordinated by the wonderful Melissa Barrad, of I Do… Weddings with NR3 heading up the video side ;) The HOT day started off with getting ready, a normal wedding ceremony, and then Stephanie changed into a stunning orange (!!!) Chinese dress where they performed their tea ceremony with their relatives.
S+D, you two form a covalent bond ;) Thank you for allowing me to see and capture the wonderful moments of your day, and I can’t wait for you guys to see the rest! :D May your journey together be blessed a thousand times. :)

I loooove the eyelets on her cuffs!

It was a pretty hot day :)

I couldn’t not do it, they had a martini luge! Thank you to Miss Amy for being my light girl for this shot ;)

No random thoughts this week - way too much going on! More to come of Charlene & Christian soonish :)

These moments were hard to catch because I had to manually focus. But luckily I caught this one.

I’m back from being on the other side with my friends Cyn & Derek’s wedding! It was pretty crazy, and FUN and stressful at the same time. :) I took a TON of photos with my polaroid over the past week (surprisingly, I barely picked up my regular camera), and a few from the iPhone, which I have posted. :) More to come soon, but here are a few quick ones for now. :)
One thing I did notice though, was that I was sooo busy with other duties and things (you don’t know how much I was sweating over the speech!!), I barely had time to pick up my regular camera, or even think about photo ops! Which is why I’m glad Stephanie was there to capture it all :) Can’t wait to see her photos!
Plus, yes, everything does go by in a big fat blur, even if you’re only in the wedding party!

What can I say about these two? Seriously? They are amazing. I feel like if they lived in San Diego, we would need to hang out everyday (only if they wanted to of course!)
They were married in La Jolla at Cuvier Park with an amazingly ROCKIN’ (afternoon!) reception at the Hard Rock Cafe. The day was beautiful, and seriously, these two are so smitten for one another - head over heels! When I saw the way they interacted with absolutely no prompting from me, I knew our trash the dress session was going to ROCK! (Images from those coming soon!)
Kelly & Steve, thank YOU for allowing me a glimpse into your (oh so familiar!) world and being a part of it. Many, many blessings on your journey ahead :) *Cue the song “Starlight” by Muse*

Their getaway? A vespa. How awesome is that?!
