I have family in Astoria and have been there a million times, as well as Newport and Cannon Beach – but it’s so wonderful seeing it through your lens. Gorgeous photos!

I’m a lurker, but I absolutely love your blog and photographs, especially those from this trip! I just wanted to say that the quaint little barn you passed in Cannon Beach actually gives out beach rides. I’ve done three rides in the pass and it is loads of fun since all the horses have their little quirks. And the bridge you went over? The horses and riders ride under that bridge to get to the beach! :)

I think I just got to know my state a little better through your beautiful eye. i believe I am in need of a roadtrip to experience this beauty for myself. I do wish I had more time with you while you were here…but it was amazing that our paths got to cross even if it was a short while. Next time you will have to stay with me for a couple of days as well. I’ll have Amy over and we can have a big ol’ slumber party;)
