One of the many things I love about the holidays are the decorations – it seems like one of the only times of the year that you can kind of go wild with decorating! I had fun with a book page theme this year, creating & cutting book pages & making wreaths, chains, buntings and garlands :) And doesn’t Christmas lights make everything more magical? I think so. :) It just cheers me to drive down any neighborhood and see all the lovely lights adorning houses. I know it’s a faux pas to keep lights up all year long, but I sometimes wish more people did. :)
It’s been a fun filled year this year, lots of wonderful weddings, shoots & lots of life lessons as well. One of the things I do miss was the fact that I was blogging everyday in 2008, and that made me feel a bit more connected with you, dear readers. Shall I try it again? I really want to, but when I think back on it, and turn it over in my head, I honestly can’t believe how I even accomplished it a year ago! It’s almost daunting to me – I don’t want to give it a go and fail along the way! But I want to try. So I will. You will see a photo from me again everyday, my friends, and I can’t wait to share with you – maybe I can finally catch up to blogging my shoots from this past year! :)
Yay!
So until then, I am signing off the blog for the rest of the year. ;) I hope you allĀ have a happy, wonderful, and lovely holiday season – and I hope you are spending it with loved ones. :)
See you in 2010!
P.S. The darling blue card above is from my talented & lovely friend Jasfitz. :)
P.P.S. Don’t feel bad about the pages – the book was a 1950′s medical book I found at the flea market for $1 – obviously outdated :)
P.P.P.S. Don’t forget to get a calendar for 2010 ;)

i’m in love with your creativity.
I attempted blogging every day for 1 month and failed 1/2 way through. I first started following your blog last year and honestly don’t know how you did it every day for a year. The fact that you’re doing it again inspires me to try again too!
oh and i LOVE your book decorations!
your decorations are so adorable! SO creative!
Whoo-hoo – photo a day again! 2010 is looking up already! ;) Cute decor, too. It would totally pain me to cut into a book, but what you did with the theme looks great!
