Trees! Trees! I love TREEEES! *runs around* Haha, well, this is how I felt when shooting Hazel & Kurtis’ engagement shoot last weekend! It came up that I was going to be up north, and the idea was brought up to the do the shoot in Davis & on the UC Davis campus because that’s where it all started ;) A storm had threated to cancel our shoot all week, but we stuck it out till the day of, and it turned out to be beautiful! Hazel & Kurtis, you two are incredibly sweet, and I had SO much fun romping around downtown Davis & your old stomping grounds at US Davis. I know Hazel is anxiously waiting to see some teasers, so here they are! ;)

Aww, thank you! Susan, you’re amazing! We enjoyed every second of our session with you. It was great to experience the magic you do and how you capture such fascinating photos- I always wondered what couples are talking about, laughing at, and what they’re thinking when looking deeply into each other’s eyes :). Lol. Is that really us in photo #2? We’re so not PDA! haha. Thank you for making us feel awesome!

What a beautiful photo shoot and what amazing scenery! I haven’t seen photos like this in a long time and I am truly inspired. Hazel & Kurtis express their true feelings towards each other in these photos, and you were able to capture it to a tee. Wow, I can only imagine what their wedding photos will be like- I’m sure you will kill it. You may hear from me in the near future. :-)
