Polaroids to be discontinued.

Fond memories were when I was a child with my family, taking many pictures with our little polaroid camera. My first photo with my mom when she came home with me from the hospital was with a polaroid. Pictures of me playing, with family, were all with polaroids. I cherish those photos.

And now, they give way to the digital age. I am thankful for less chemicals, but you just can’t duplicate the feeling of the image developing right before your eyes (short of being in a darkroom, of course!).

I love Polaroids (I have 5 Polaroid cameras!), and I am so sad they are leaving (thank goodness for Fuji, but still.)

I must stock up.
